I have an answer to the question posed in my last post. The answer is, “I do!” After hanging out for a few hours in the Alaska Airlines Board Room, we began the never easy trek to clear once again through LAX security. Once again, the security there didn’t disappoint (in the sense of being consistent with their difficulty). But hey, “Attitude is everything. Enjoy the journey” is our motto and although my fellow travelers gently had to remind me of our motto, I did come around. I think the other word that was used was Tranquilo! Clearing through security, we made our way to the end of the international terminal where our plane, an A380 big boy, awaited to transport us to London.
We boarded and pulled out from the terminal a little before 4 in the afternoon. After a 10 hour flight and sleep totaling about 2 hours each, we arrived in London at 10 am their time. For some reason, the folks at British Airways separated Doug and Barb from Lynda and me when we made our last flight to Dublin. The airline changed their flight from ours so we left them in London to fly to Dublin because they had a later flight. However, as Doug stated when we hooked back up in Dublin, they can separate us for a time, but they can’t keep us apart! It’s now 6:15 pm and we are in our hotel in downtown Dublin resting up so we can go exploring this evening. Hi to everyone back home
